Position OverviewA Facility Assistant will work in one or more of the four responsibility areas or positions within the ASRFC during a given shift. In each area, an Assistant shall enforce and implement policies and procedures or complete particular responsibilities so that the KU Recreation Services population has the opportunity to participate in desired recreational programs, facilities, and services. Assistants are expected to work during the following periods: fall and spring semesters; and fall, winter, and spring breaks. The summer semester is optional and is covered by those who are available to work. They will also work Monday-Sunday with early morning hours (6:00A), morning, afternoon, evening, and late-night hours (ASRFC closes as late as 10:30P). This position conducts assessment of all undergraduate students in the College to determine academic standing; and also determines eligibility for the College Dean’s Honor Roll. They are responsible for developing reports and providing data related to the above responsibilities to aid in the success of students and in determining areas for targeted improvements. Position OverviewThe director position oversees and provides direction for the student recruitment and PharmD program admissions programs including the design, implementation and evaluation of program initiatives. Responsibilities include the supervision of staff members; communicating regularly and building relationships with prospective students; managing selected correspondence; and planning and executing on- and off-campus programs. The director is responsible for evaluation and interpreting data to assist the School of Pharmacy in reaching enrollment and accreditation goals as well as liaisons with other KU offices and transfer partner institutions. This is a full-time, 12-month, staff position with some travel required.
