Description The Claims Intern works closely with the Commercial Insurance division to ensure that claims administrative duties are maintained in detail and are correct. Responsibilities Work with clients and internal team to ensure accurate, prompt, and smooth flow of handling of all claims, ensuring that established processes are followed. Follow up with carrier claims departments as set by company standards to identify claim number and adjuster assignments. Provide Risk Advisors and Account Managers verbal or written updates upon request. Ensure claim supporting documents are forwarded to the assigned adjuster and documented properly in CRM per company procedures.
