Senior Engineer, Geotechnical / AES Clean Energy Services, LLC / Louisville, CO (100% telecommuting permitted anywhere in US. 10% domestic travel required). ** DUTIES:** Serve as the point of contact for geotechnical related issues and inquiries in the western United States and Hawaiian electricity markets. Provide geotechnical consultation to internal AES staff, as well as consultants and construction contractors. This consultation assists with estimating CAPEX costs for, secure Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) for, develop, design, and construct wind, solar, battery storage, and green hydrogen projects. Review potential project sites and quantify project risks, including how they may impact the design, equipment procurement, construction, and operation & maintenance (O&M) of a project.
