Taylors are part of the RiverLink project, and we are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join the team for the duration of the project. Hourly rate is negotiable. Key skills and attributes: To be successful in this role, you will: * Be a trade qualified diesel technician with skills in hydraulics, modern diesel engines and related electronics * Hold a class 1 driver’s license * Demonstrate a strong commitment to Health and Safety * Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical failures and recommend solutions * Ability to work alone and as part of a team * Excellent communication skills * Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic * Have a willingness to learn and comply with our policies and procedures * You must have legal entitlement to live and work in New Zealand (appropriate work visa).
