We are looking for an experienced Farm Manager (or strong 2IC ready to step up) to take leadership of Marangai, a 1200 ha (900 ha effective) family-owned sheep and beef farm in Wairarapa. You will be responsible for the day-to-day performance of the farm - stock, pasture, staff, and operational delivery - while we, the owners, transition more fully into our administrative, strategic and project-based roles. This is a practical, hands-on leadership role in a breeder–finisher system that is already well established but actively being refined. We are focused on improving feed utilisation, tightening decision-making, and making better use of data and farm systems to improve overall performance. Tools and planning platforms (including pasture/feed budgeting and production tracking systems such as FarmIQ and Farm Focus-type approaches) are part of how we operate, as well as making use of the likes of FARMAX with our Farm Consultant.
