Position Summary: This position is responsible for assisting in the operation, inspection, maintenance, and monitoring of BPU water system facilities and equipment to support the production and delivery of safe drinking water under the direction of their supervisor. Education and Experience Requirements: Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED. Previous experience in utilities, water treatment, water distribution, or a related field is preferred. Employees must possess or obtain a Class IV Water Supply System Operator Certificate within 4 years of employment and obtain and maintain a valid CDL with Hazmat endorsement, as well as obtain BPU forklift certification, within 6 months of employment.
