Job Summary Kitchen Manager/Lead Cook Do you love feeding people — and doing it with purpose? We're looking for a passionate Kitchen Manager / Lead Cook at an established, non-denominational retreat center located in rural northeast Tennessee. What you'll do: Plan and prepare wholesome, freshly prepared meals for retreat groups · Be the lead cook working with trained volunteer staff, purchase food and track inventory · You're a great fit if you have experience in preparing both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals, have organizational and leadership skills, enjoy a community-oriented environment and rural setting. Exp working at a retreat center or for a non-profit is a plus. Well Being Retreat Center is on 160 acres in Tazewell, Tennessee. The position is full-time to provide three meals a day for 10 – 35 people during events that are 2 to 4 days in length.
