Job Description The Role The Data Management Specialist/Vehicle Assembly Structure (VAS) Administrator is responsible for data exchange both outgoing and incoming between GM Defense (GMD) and suppliers using the Sterling application as well as the data exchange between GMD and GM LLC. Part of this data exchange may include converting the data files from NX to a neutral file type, such as STEP, STL, JT or others. The reverse will happen for incoming data to convert in NX and then the files will be imported into Teamcenter for the DRE's and Design teams to access. You'll be responsible for Teamcenter Multi-Site work, ensuring the GMD Teamcenter database has the required GM LLC Teamcenter database files available.
