Responsibilities OPPD is seeking an electrical engineer to assist with developing 900 MW of new combustion turbine thermal generation units and converting 320 MW of existing combustion units to dual fuel capability. Initial responsibilities will include combustion turbine project engineering support for the design, procurement, construction, and startup activities. This position will also provide engineering support associated with operational readiness activities for the new combustion turbine facilitates including drawing reviews, system description reviews, equipment criticality evaluations, spare parts reviews, and creating necessary preventive maintenance tasks for the new equipment. Eventually this role will become more of a typical Power Generation Engineer providing engineering support primarily to those facilities.
