Position Overview We are a materials testing firm seeking a hands-on Lab Technician/Manager to manage and execute laboratory testing, with a strong emphasis on soils testing . This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically capable, detail-oriented, and understands the importance of accurate testing to ASTM standards. Key Responsibilities - Perform soil testing to ASTM standards, including sieve analyses and Proctor tests (standard and modified) - Interpret soil test results and ensure accurate data recording - Perform concrete cylinder compression tests - Conduct masonry and other materials testing - Prepare and cut steel plates and test samples - Maintain, organize, and assist with calibration of lab equipment - Prepare clear, accurate laboratory test reports - Supporting, guiding and directing AASHTO & NVLAP certification and resolution processes ensuring all proper documentation, and submission of accurate paperwork -Report Checking.
