Under the supervision of the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) Director, the EOP Academic Counselor is responsible for all assignments and/or projects related to the counseling of Educational Opportunity Program students as assigned by the Director. This position maintains a counseling relationship with program students by providing individual and group counseling sessions relating to academic, financial, career and personal counseling matters; submits periodic and semester counseling reports, records and data as required by the Director and the NY State Education Department; participates in the EOP orientation program; and maintains applicable office hours for EOP students.
