The Omniseal Solutions division is looking for an experienced CNC Toolmaker to join the Saint-Gobain team in Orange, CT. The CNC Toolmaker must be able to fabricate and/or repair precision parts, dies to support production operations. They will set up and operate a variety of computer-controlled and mechanically controlled machines, manufacture tools to produce precision metal parts, fixtures, and die components. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Machining tools, fixtures, and die components prior to and after heat treating. Read, review, understand, and interpret blueprint specifications for machined and/or fabricated parts with special focus on stamping die components. Competent in the use of inspection tools. Use general inspection knowledge and experience with measuring tools (mics/calipers, bore gauges, etc.) for size and quality verification based upon specifications.
