We are looking for a Tool & Die Associate to join our team in Portland. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, developing action plans, and repairing injection and compression molds, as well as progressive dies, to ensure the production of high-quality parts. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose issues with molds and dies, executing repairs to restore original contours using precision hand tools, machine shop equipment, and EDM machines. Fabrication: Work from engineering drawings, parts, and sketches to fabricate jigs, fixtures, and replacement components. Technical Maintenance: Repair cylinders and adjust proximity switches on molds with cam/slide actions using knowledge of hydraulics and PLCs.
