Heavy Duty Mechanic Department: Fleet FLSA Status: Non-Exempt JOB SUMMARY: Heavy Duty Mechanics at Livingston Development Ventures carry out routine maintenance on the vehicles and heavy construction equipment of our clients following industry established guidelines. REPORTS TO: Director of Fleet Services COMPENSATION: $26-$32 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Engine, hydraulic, differential, axle, transaxle, gearbox and transmission fluid changes, greasing bearings, pins and bushings, checking windshields, tires and engine coolant. Track service records of client’s vehicles and equipment. Perform annual coolant freeze point checks. Perform routine checks including exhaust systems, air filters, chassis components, brake systems, tire pressures, wheel bearings, fluid levels, ignitions, HVAC systems.
