PURPOSE OF POSITION: Works closely with the Port Manager, Seward to provide for on-site administration, management, operations, maintenance and repair, billing and marketing of the Alaska Railroad Seward Docks, real estate land and other assets in Seward. Duties and Responsibilities: Provides daily oversight and management of ARRC dock facilities, primarily in Seward. Coordinates activities on the cruise dock and freight dock by various users including passenger, freight vessels military and other miscellaneous users. Ensures that proper procedures are followed by users for safe operations and compliance with ARRC’s terminal use requirements. Ensures applicable Coast Guard security regulations are followed for vessels, including adherence to the Facility Security Plan. Maintains detailed records of all activity.
