Plan and establish the production schedule in a complex multi-location environment. Successful person will monitor inventories, track production progress and work closely with production supervisors, purchasing, production planners, and sales. Detail-oriented, strongly-skilled with ERP, and communicates timely and effectively throughout the organization. Summary: The Production Scheduler develops production schedules in accordance with sales forecast, plant and employee capacity, and new business opportunities. Monitors material inventories, tracks progress of production, and reviews factors that affect schedules. Initiates work orders to the appropriate department when revisions are made to the schedule.
