Job Description Summary The Senior Product Engineer will be focused on solving manufacturing engineering challenges impacting delivery of repaired components within a specific part family to support engine overhaul across the MRO network. This could involve quickly deploying a new repair, collaborating with process experts to eliminate rework or improve yield, deploying flow line improvements and principles, finding innovative solutions like temporary farm out or outsourcing, addressing shop non-conformances against the Engine Manual requirements, and lastly supporting the advancement of new ideas and technologies. A successful person in this role should be able to immediately analyze current state, including understanding true customer demand, current manufacturing (flow line) practices (new make, various overhaul shops, etc.), different locations of supply (engine overhaul, component repair, GEAM, etc.) and the challenges of that supply to deliver against business...
