JOB TITLE: Summer Associate FLSA STATUS: Exempt SCHEDULE: Full-Time; M-F, 40 hours/week LOCATION: Springfield, MO Office SUMMER ASSOCIATE PROGRAM SUMMAR YSpencer Fane’s Summer Associate Program typically starts around Memorial Day each year and runs for 10 weeks, 40 hours/week. There are two goals of the program – first, to provide summer associates meaningful work experience and exploration of the firm’s diverse range of legal services; and second, to facilitate informal social interaction to allow summer associates to begin developing relationships with our attorneys and staff. To provide meaningful work experience, you should expect to be assigned real assignments, which are assigned from a variety of practice groups and different attorneys.
