This position is open to any healthcare professional eligible for AE-C certification under NBRC requirements. St. Louis continues to experience asthma rates nearly three times the national average, with significantly higher ED visits and hospitalizations. In 2024, SLCH recorded over 2,100 asthma-related ED visits, underscoring the urgent need for improved asthma education and post-discharge support.
