BASIC FUNCTION: UniSea is currently seeking a skilled professional to design and implement operating techniques for the Meal Plant. Organize, plan and perform maintenance of Meal Plant equipment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: 1. Oversee start-up and operations of the Meal Plant. Create new procedures as necessary. 2. Supervise and perform timely repair and maintain a wide variety of equipment associated with fish meal production while during production periods and between seasons. 3. Collaborate with all UniSea production departments to ensure steady and consistent product flow. 4. Identify both immediate and long-range problems. Investigate, troubleshoot, develop and implement solutions. 5. Record shift information with a PDA and transfer the data to the database.
