Overview The Senior Lead Mechanic (SLM) is skilled at a variety of trades including but not limited to carpentry, painting, minor electrical repairs, and all work required of a Mechanic A or B. The SLM will lead, mentor, and direct all maintenance mechanics in performing daily duties. Inspects, troubleshoots, performs emergency repairs (this includes all actions necessary to render a situation, system, or component in a safe condition), maintains building and plant mechanical equipment in response to service requests and directives, and performs preventive maintenance. Prepares and completes required updates (manual and electronic) in a timely manner.
