POSITION: Part-time Juvenile Detention Officer LOCATION: Juvenile Detention Center WORK SCHEDULE: As assigned (may vary) JOB CATEGORY: Part-Time/Hourly SALARY: Starts at $20.00 Per Hour Serves as Juvenile Detention Officer for the Juvenile Detention Center, responsible for monitoring and supervising behavior and activities of assigned juvenile residents and manages specific areas of facility operation. DUTIES: Supervises detained juveniles as needed. Formulates supervision plans with specific goals and objectives to meet the individual needs of the juvenile. Monitors compliance with the plan. Enforces rules and administers consequences. Assesses whether juveniles need to be placed on alerts. Provides for physical and psychological well-being of the juveniles.
