Overview The Data & Reporting Coordinator is responsible for monitoring activities required under the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act of 1974, as reauthorized by the Juvenile Justice Reform Act (JJRA) of 2018, which established four core requirements that protect youth. These requirements include deinstutionalization of status offenders (status offenders are juveniles charged with a conduct that would not be a crime if committed by an adult), sight and sound separation between adult inmates and juveniles, removal of juveniles from adult jails and detention facilities, and addressing racial and ethnic disparities within the juvenile justice system. Overview The DCF Business Office is looking for a new member to join our Accounts Receivable and Account Payable team. This position is based in Waterbury and will work three days in office, with two teleworking remotely. The Financial Specialist's primary focus will be on processing the daily receivables and daily payables along with managing mobile phones for the whole department, various administrative functions for the business office, supplier maintenance, processing mail, and scanning and indexing of documents. This position requires a large volume of data entry and can be highly repetitive at times.
