The 100-bed licensed center is set on 50 private acres. Children, adolescents and adults experience a comfortable and pleasant setting for psychiatric treatment. As part of the MaineHealth system, Spring Harbor is clinically integrated with mental health providers, hospitals, and primary care sites to make sure people can access care easily, safely and effectively. The 1 North West Coed Adolescent Psychiatric Unit at Spring Harbor Hospital specializes in the care of lower acuity adolescent girls and boys generally between ages 12-18.
