Pathology Lab Assistant will assist the Lab Manager with specimen processing, quality assurance on each pathology ensuring receipt and accessioning specimens. The schedule for this position is Day-to-day path lab operations with commitment to providing the highest quality service to patients. Daily confirmation of receipt and accessioning specimens. Maintain quality control to ensure reliability of processing procedures. Verify patient demographics, physician data, tests requested, time and date of collection, appropriate clinical information and all other pertinent data found on laboratory request forms.
