This is a full-time position, 40 hours each week, working in a great supportive team. We are a small center licensed for 40 children and have two classrooms catering from 9 months to 6 years. We follow the Montessori philosophy of following the child, developing independence in a respectful environment enabling the child to develop a lifetime love of learning. We believe that families are children’s first teachers and our role is to get to know the child and the family so we can work alongside them guiding and developing learning opportunities. What we do now really does make a difference in the future. We have worked with talking matters developing even more oral language in our environment and have also worked with OLLI to extend the strategies we can use to increase language and literacy knowledge.
