Job Summary The Town of Wiscasset is seeking a Full-Time Deputy Clerk/Deputy Treasurer. The Deputy Clerk/Deputy Treasurer performs a variety of routine and complex clerical, and administrative functions relating to the recording and retention of official Town records and assists with conducting and overseeing elections as needed. The Deputy Treasurer performs a variety of transactions with a high degree of interaction with the public, including assisting with the general assistance program. This position consists of administrative and fiscal work involving the handling of Town funds including accounts payable/receivable functions.
