We present an exciting opportunity for a Shepherd to join our team at Nokomai Station and gain invaluable stockmanship skills on a South Island High Country Station. This is an opportunity for an experienced Shepherd with a team of dogs under good command. Located in Northern Southland, this family owned property is 36,000ha and currently runs 40,000su comprising of half-bred ewes, merino wethers and hereford cattle plus replacements. Reporting directly to the stock manager, this position will involve predominantly stock work and extensive hill country mustering for your strong team of working dogs. This role will offer you a strong team environment, where your work ethic and positive contribution will be appreciated. You will also get to be part of the Stations Autumn muster, with traditional horse work. Further training and development will be provided to committed employees.
