We are currently on the hunt for two intermediate Civil Workers to work within a newly formed crew based in Kaiapoi, where you will be doing Subdivision prep work, with a variety of daily tasks from plate compaction, boxing, working as a spotter and at times getting in Loaders and Diggers to do bulk digouts with training opportunities to upskill. As these positions will be forming a new crew, the need for reliability and a willingness to work and get on with others is paramount. We have an excellent role based in Hornby, operating a Class 4 Tipper carting from Point A to B, with a requirement to load your own vehicle at times with a Loader. At times while waiting on site to tip off, a willingness to help the crew is desired, but won't involve too much physical/manual labour and might be spotting for a digger or picking up a broom and keeping the site tidy. The work we have is varied, with work on Subdivisions, Drainage Works and general landscaping works with the ability to pick up Saturday work as the weather warms up.
