Perform manual and mechanized tasks associated with the production of nursery and greenhouse plants and other horticultural products. Plant, cultivate, and maintain plants and horticultural products. Propagate plants from cuttings and seed. Fill and label pots, trays, etc.; move product to/from production and loading/unloading areas. Attach hangers to baskets and hang them in growing area. Move plants using rolling carts, pallet jacks and forklift. Prune, trim, and perform other general plant maintenance. Iirrigate plants and apply fertilizer or other materials. Grade, size and sort product according to color, shape, size, appearance, feel and/or quality, in accordance with supervisor's instructions and employer standards.
