Data Center Technician Responsibilities Perform break-fix and remote hands support, including nights and weekends as needed Rack, stack, cable, label, and decommission data center equipment Install and troubleshoot fiber and Ethernet cabling (single-mode, multi-mode, CAT5/6, LC, RJ45, fan-outs) Perform optical testing and turn-ups using tools such as OTDR, power meters, and VFL Test and troubleshoot 10G and 100G circuits Support card-level troubleshooting and hardware replacements Follow MOPs, engineering documents, and customer procedures Support site audits, cable assignments, and documentation Work with AC and DC power, redundant feeds, and ATS systems Coordinate with control centers, engineers, and on-site teams Provide oversight of 3rd-party vendors when needed Requirements 3-5 years of hands-on experience working in data center environments Experience with rack & stack, cabling, and live hardware support Comfortable working with fiber and...
