Purpose: Assists and instructs students with auditory, speech and language needs and promotes development of communication and language skills of the Ohio School for the Deaf students through aural habilitation services. Provides auditory rehab, speech, and language therapy to students: Instructs student(s) in auditory skill development, speech articulation development and language development using a variety of modalities (e.g., spoken English, ASL, total communication, AAC); Prepares and implements instructional material and case notes (i.e., individual or group, according to needs) for all IEP directed services; Collaborates with the classroom teacher to provide services in the classroom or in the therapy area that correspond with content standards for the classroom.
