Overview: The Maintenance Worker I performs manual labor of routine difficulty involving physically demanding unskilled and semi-skilled tasks and performs related work as required. Under the direct supervision of a Crew Leader, the employee will perform the duties as assigned and assist other divisions within the Department of Public Works. Consequently, a history of experience with light construction, plumbing, or other municipal water and sewer experience is desirable.
