Summary The primary purpose of the GI Lab Clinical Nurse is to provide direct care in the patients during endoscopy procedures and coordination, patient education and information sharing for both pre-procedure and post-procedure care. The GI Lab Clinical Nurse assumes responsibility for assessing, diagnosing, identifying outcomes, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care of patients.
