Overview We are seeking a digital media coordinator to help our small congregation more effectively community with our church and broader community. This very part-time job (15 hours per month) is intended to meet the growing needs of our congregation by managing our weekly newsletter, social media accounts and website updates. It is a mostly remote job with monthly in-person attendance at various events and services. Weekly Responsibilities: Create and post a weekly church newsletter, using the Mailchimp software system. Expand readership by advertising the newsletter in local venues. Increase interest by adding articles featuring the church’s history, its current activities and members, and future services and events. Longer term goal: Maximize the use of the system by upgrading to the more advanced version of the software, incorporating text notifications as an option for urgent notifications and increasing graphics.
