Position Overview The City of Weatherby Lake is the governing body for the Weatherby Lake community located in Kansas City’s northland. The Grant Writer works closely with the Mayor, the City Clerk, the City Treasurer, and the Board of Aldermen to implement strategies that result in increased long-term funding for the City. Job Duties and Responsibilities: The Grants Writer is primarily responsible for creating and executing a year-round strategy to raise funds to support the initiatives and programs for all areas of the city administration and services.
