The Alaska Department of Fish and Game, Division of Wildlife Conservation is recruiting for a Wildlife Biologist 2 located in Palmer! What you will be doing: In this 11-month seasonal permanent Wildlife Biologist 2 position, the incumbent will work collaboratively as part of the research team in Region IV at the Division of Wildlife Conservation to evaluate critical management and ecological questions in large game mammals. The incumbent will assist senior research staff with research on caribou, moose, thinhorn sheep, mountain goats, bison, wolves, brown bears, and/or mesocarnivores. Depending on project needs, the incumbent also may be responsible for specific aspects of complex projects investigating nutrition, disease, predator-prey interactions, habitat use, movements, or other aspects of the biology of large game mammals....
