Do you enjoy helping other students learn STEM concepts and succeed? The UAA Learning Commons is currently recruiting student employees to tutor students in STEM subjects. STEM tutors facilitate student learning and help students better understand concepts and applications in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics course content. Duties include tutoring students individually or in small groups. In-person and online tutoring hours are generally available. Maintain records and participate in training and workshops as needed. Other duties as assigned. Ability to work assigned hours, possibly including some evenings or weekends, as well as via Zoom. Must possess excellent problem solving, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to work with a diverse population.
