GENERAL JOB SUMMARY: Only candidates whose residential address is in Iowa will be considered for this position. Though classes take place online, the instructor must be able to occasionally travel to a Kirkwood location (Coralville, Cedar Rapids, and/or Washington) for meetings or student support. Under limited supervision, the instructor is responsible for teaching non-credit English Language and Literacy (ELL) courses to students enrolled in Kirkwood's Adult Education and Literacy Programs. Instruction takes place online via Zoom, though there might be opportunities to teach in Coralville, Cedar Rapids, or Washington if there are openings at those locations.
