The Speech-Language Pathologist evaluates, plans goals, and treats individuals with speech, swallowing and communication disorders. The Speech Therapist is an integral part of the Interdisciplinary Team providing an improved quality of life for the affected persons. Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of Position: Evaluates the degrees of function and disability of the patient. Provides appropriate professional treatment in order to improve and/or sustain the patient’s functioning level and ability to communicate.
