Primary Functions The Program Specialist is responsible for planning, directing, instructing, coordinating, and evaluating a wide variety of recreational programs, seasonal activities, camps, and special events serving residents of all ages. This position plays a key leadership role in delivering high-quality, inclusive, and engaging programming that enhances community wellness and promotes positive youth development. This role plays a vital part in advancing the mission of the Youth and Recreation Department by fostering inclusive, safe, and engaging environments that promote physical activity, creativity, social connection, and lifelong learning.
