The primary function of the Safety/Rescue Technician is to provide site safety oversight and technical rescue standby including confined space rescue and technical rope rescue. The technician and supervisor will assist in assessing risks, readying rescue equipment, and planning practical and effective solutions towards safe working practices that are in compliance with client standards. Additional duties include being an active advocate attached to our safety department team reviewing permits, ongoing work and insuring that site safety standards are met.
