The Senior Internal Auditor provides value-added service by evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of Humana's operational processes. The Senior Internal Auditor owns audit engagements by leading walkthrough discussions, performing detail reviews, and identifying process gaps within business processes. This role assists external auditors and performs testing in accordance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. The Senior Internal Auditor makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues and work is performed with limited guidance.
