The University of Iowa Health Care Department of Pathology is seeking to fill a Laboratory Technician III to perform under general supervision, directs the operation of difficult and complex technical duties in a clinical laboratory related to specimen processing, computer/clerical duties, telephone inquiries, routine laboratory maintenance and supply distribution. Provides functional supervision over laboratory personnel. Primary supervision is received from the Assistant Lab Manager or designee. Functional supervision is exercised over Laboratory Technicians and student employees. Works closely with laboratory personnel and with allied health care personnel from other departments.
