Required: BA/BS or a combination of related education and work experience to equal four years. Preferred Experience in genetics, molecular biology, or cell culture would be advantageous. The Researcher 1 will work on an NIH-funded project to study the relationship between lipid metabolism and aging, with a link to the cell cycle and liver function. Duties will include worm strain maintenance, CRISPR Cas9 genome editing, genetic crosses, lifespan analysis and various techniques to assess lipid composition including fluorescence microscopy.
