About the Role Under the general direction of the Director – EMA, performs advanced technical, operational, and administrative work supporting the County’s Emergency Management Program and Enhanced 911 (E911) / Next Generation 911 (NG911) systems. This position coordinates emergency planning, preparedness, response, and recovery activities, while also ensuring the effective operation, maintenance, and modernization of the County’s 911 system. The EMA Specialist collaborates with county departments, Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs), and local, state, federal, and private partners to support a coordinated and efficient emergency response system.
