Horner Industrial Group has an opportunity for an experienced Purchasing Agent / Buyer for its Motor Shop division. GENERAL PURPOSE: Primary duties include but are not limited to; the purchasing of products, parts, supplies, materials and services as related to active jobs, orders and inventory levels. Includes supporting the job estimating process, procurement of necessary job parts, expediting critical purchases and teaming with operations to meet customer due dates. Additionally, requires the use of the company ERP system post transactions, track order status, monitor inventory levels, etc. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Locates vendors, products, parts, supplies, materials, and services to meet Horner's operational and customer needs Secures the best combination of pricing, service, and delivery from vendors.
