The Public Safety Officer conducts proactive patrols, emergency and incident responses and responds to routine calls for service to assist the campus community, and enforces laws and University policies. Under administrative supervision, acts to maintain the safety of Elmhurst University students and employees and protect University property from damage. This is a full-time position. Shift covers 12:00 am – 8:00 am. 5 days a week with regular set days off determined based on operational needs. Position Status: Non-Exempt Salary Range: $20.50. Under direct supervision, the Services Specialist performs set-ups, deliveries, cleaning, and upkeep of academic buildings. Regular schedule is Monday through Friday 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm. Weekends scheduled on a rotating basis, dependent upon demand. Position Status: Non-Exempt Salary Range: $17.50 - $18.50. This is the expected hourly rate for this position.
