BalletMet is seeking to increase its Education Department Faculty for a position teaching dance to elementary- high school students during the school year. Eligible candidates should have experience teaching in public schools and/or private studios working with a variety of age groups. Teachers need to be organized, responsible, and energetic. Experience with developing curriculum, lesson plans and assessment protocol is a plus. Applicants should possess a desire to share the art of dance with the community. A degree in dance or a related field and /or performance experience is required. Specialization in a variety of dance styles is encouraged. Work hours are primarily during school hours. BalletMet is seeking to increase its Education and Community Engagement Department Faculty for a position teaching yoga to high school or junior high students 5 days per week during the 2021-2022 school year. Eligible candidates should have experience teaching adults and teens and hold at least a 200 hour certification in Yoga. Proof of certification is required. Experience and training in teaching iRest® meditation is preferred. A background in dance is a plus. Applicants should possess a desire to share their work with the community.
