The City of Minden is accepting applications for a full-time Utility Worker I to assist with the water and wastewater treatment plants and infrastructure. Successful applicants must be highly motivated. Possession of a NE DHHS Class 2 water license, NDEQ Class 2 wastewater license and class B CDL, ARE NOT REQUIRED but would be preferred. The City of Minden promotes and encourages professional growth through the support of training and development; and will work with highly motivated personnel to obtain in the future. Primary duties include maintenance and repair of the City’s water treatment plant, storage reservoirs and distribution system and maintenance and repair of the City’s wastewater treatment plant, lift stations and collection system.
